About
Vineyard Altoona is a church in Altoona, PA. We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM, and if you showed up this weekend you'd find a pretty diverse room — different ages, different backgrounds, different politics, different stories. The one thing most people here have in common is that they're trying to figure out what it looks like to follow Jesus in real life, and they'd rather do that with other people than alone.
Nobody's going to make you feel like an outsider. You can show up with questions, doubts, or no background in church at all. That's fine here.

I grew up in church, walked away from it in college, and met Jesus for real in 2004. That changed everything. I've been following him — and asking a lot of questions along the way — ever since.
Jeri Heilmann
Community Pastor
I grew up in Altoona and began following Jesus in high school. My faith journey has included plenty of ups and downs, which shapes how I walk with others today. I love helping people grow and creating spaces where people can ask honest questions and discover they're loved just as they are.
For every age and stage
Kids (nursery through 5th grade)
Every Sunday morning we have ministry for kids from nursery age through 5th grade. Your kids are in good hands, and you get to actually be present for the service.
Youth (6th through 12th grade)
Sunday nights are for middle and high schoolers — games, real conversation, and teaching designed to help students figure out what following Jesus looks like when life is complicated. It's meant to be fun.
College
We believe college is one of the most important seasons of a person's life. If you're a student at Penn State Altoona, we'd love to have you. We provide rides from campus every Sunday morning — reach out and we'll get you connected.
