Vineyard Altoona is a community of ordinary people learning to live in the way of Jesus. Our mission is simple: lost people found, found people formed, and formed people sent. We’re part of the global Vineyard movement, known for passionate worship, compassionate service, and partnering with the Holy Spirit in everyday life. What to Expect at Our Sunday Worship Gathering

Welcome! Whether you’re new to our community or a regular attendee, we’re excited to have you join us. Here’s what you can expect when you visit our Sunday worship gathering:

Service Time and Duration

  • Time: Our Sunday worship gathering begins at 10:30am.

  • Duration: The service lasts about 90 minutes.

Arrival and Parking

  • Parking: Ample parking is available to make your arrival as smooth as possible.

  • Coffee: Enjoy free coffee before the service begins. Feel free to grab a cup and get comfortable.

What to Wear

  • Dress Code: Come as you are. There’s no need to dress up; we want you to feel comfortable and welcome.

The Worship Experience

  • Musical Worship: The gathering starts with 25 minutes of engaging musical worship. We believe in the power of music to prepare our hearts and minds.

  • Message: Following musical worship, we dive into a biblical and relevant message designed to connect with real life.

Kids Ministry

  • Ages: Kids from 3 years old through 5th grade are welcome in our kids ministry.

  • Participation: Children stay in the gathering for the musical worship portion. They’re then dismissed to their age-appropriate lessons during the message.

  • Check-In: You can check your kids into the kids ministry before the service begins.

Communion

  • Weekly Practice: We participate in communion every week. Any follower of Jesus is welcome to join us in this meaningful practice.

Our Hope

  • Encountering God: Our hope for each gathering is that you would encounter God in a profound and personal way.
